Lo-Fi Games

There are trees all over the land of Kenshi. Whole forests. Trees thick enough to carve rooms inside of them. So why is there no wood? There's no wood-burning generator, no wooden bows, no wooden structures or polearm staves, etc. Why not?

There are wooden shoes.

The one thing that is better when made of virtually any other material. Meanwhile the things you expect, like bows, or crossbow bolt shafts, or shields, or weapon hilts, or buildings, or furniture... no wood. So, besides sandals, why no wood?

No wood is ok for me, but no water makes the survival part less fun, especially the game already have water items and water sources prepared, plus lo-fi already have a well working mechanic for hunger/nutrition which can be used for thrist/hydration. Now I can only hope that they make it into K2

A mod on nexus called Outdoorsman will let you larp plenty with wood.
