I want to buy this game but if I buy it from Desura will I get a steam key ?

Kenshi isn't on Steam as a proper game yet, only Steam's Greenlight area for promising games they spotlight.

Yeah, I know its only been greenlit but I wanted to know if I buy it trough desura Ill get a steam key on its release.

I think Chris has indicated he would *try* to get people Steam keys who purchase through this site. Not sure if he's said anything of the sort for Desura purchases. Given that the game's launch is 2(?) years out, that's a long time for stuff to change.

Ok, just bought it from this site and now I wanna know if its better to use the 0.3.0 build or the 0.29.6, could anyone tell me ?

Use 0.29.6, and have it auto-update to 0.30.1.
