Sorry but the demo is not ready for public release, only for team-members. I will upload some videos soon though.
what would be awesome is if you put into place the Mount&Blade system
they opened up the game really early (I think two years before it's final release(V1.0) late last year(2008)) and basically said to the community "here's our game, what's wrong, what can we improve, and what is good"
it gave the game a fast growing community who really helped with the development of the game, enough that it got taken on by a publisher!
but that's just my belief, regardless I think the concept this game presents is one that should have been done ages ago, and I want to support it as much as I can!

Not a bad idea actually, I may think about it, but regardless the game is not even ready for that yet. Maybe 18 months from now it will be.
the other thing was that the coding got done a lot easier, since the players found bugs and would inform them of the changes or in extreme cases fix it themselves and pass the code to the devs
on another idea front for testing purposes you could use something similar to Infinity and segment parts that are done to a playable state (in this example the Infinity combat prototype) and ask people to test that as well, keeps the people who are eager to play happy, and you get the bug reports back from things yourself personally never though to do, or possible within the constraints of that system.
anyway glad to be of some use.
Ding.

I played it over 2 years ago, it was pretty good back then.
I own a copy of mount and blade and I have to admit it's one of my favourite current RPG games.
the only real negative I had was you could help other people become king but you couldn't become one yourself, which is being added in an expansion pack!
and btw Chris it's good to hear you took on the M&B idea! I can't wait to get my hands on it and help as well as contribute to the fund!

Yeah I played the newer version recently too, it is a fun game. Its also one of the few indie heavyweights I know of, I find it good inspiration.

Mount & Blade, its commercially released now and you can get it on steam. During development though, it had could be downloaded and played for free, and you had to pay to unlock the game or you couldn't get above level 6. And by the time you're level 6 you're totally addicted.
