I actually fell asleep during a game session. was inngame for maby 7-10 hours without a singel crash. pretty stable for a alpha realese.
Anyone else let the game run over night?

It's certainly been getting better. Despite the temptation, I try not to leave the game running when I'm not there because that would kinda be cheating with the farming and manufacturing. Also I don't want to risk my characters getting murdered when I'm not there to direct them.

I crashed once in around 50 hours of gameplay. Essentially I split up the squad and I was switching between them fairly quickly perhaps causing the map to load too much at once. Not exactly sure how the code broke down but I know not to switch back and forth too quickly. Easily avoided.
I can easily say that I have crashed less playing this game in alpha than Minecraft and other alpha (and most beta) games. Keep up the solid work!

Wait, you can split up squads?
Or you mean you took a chunk and moved them elsewhere?
I was never able to gain focus on another part of the map when I sent a squad member to sell goods. How do you do that? I tried clicking, double clicking... even quadruple clicking.

Right click on his pic (which is blank like all the others) in the squad box or double tap character number (obviously only works for first 10 chars.) The camera will jump to that character whether he's standing right next to the rest of your squad or on the other side of the campaign map.

Right clicking will make the camera follow your char constantly. If you want to stop focusing a char use the arrow keys on your keyboard (there are other ways, but that's the one i use most)
