Well, it's been a long time since i last posted anything. But that doesn't mean i didn't check the site at least once per week (also gave the link to some friends). Regarding friends and new fans for the game, Chris i think you should emphesise on players from Mount and Blade and Dwarf Fortress, actually that should be our mission: to post in game-topics of each's mentioned game about Kenshi. That's the kind of mentality of gamers that would fit perfectly into the comunity of Kenshi's outcoming promised gameplay.

Now my question was: Are you still going to add permanent-death to the game? similar to roguelikes?

It would be so sad if you would make this game a save load scumming one - disregard everything that comes from players who hate permanent death, and stick to your own plan.

I think both those games have already had kenshi mentioned in their forums. My traffic is being boosted a lot by indiedb.com at the moment.

Anyway the permament death ideas I wrote about were theories, I will see how well things work in the game later on. For start with in the early days it will be a normal loadsaving game. I think I will add the permadeath as an optional game mode nearer the end of production. You need a well polished and balanced game to pull it off.

That is correct, having perma death in a non perma death balanced game leads to incompatibilities and frustration.

Well as i said i do hope you won't forget about your initial plans for this game.
