Hi! I saw this game and became very interested in supporting it however possible. I do a lot of voice over work for local tv stations and such, so if ya need any voice acting I would be happy to help however possible.

Thanks, but the trouble is if one character is voiced, then all of them need voices. I just don't have the time to go down that route, I thought I'd just keep it old-school text-dialogue.

Well, I'd like to throw my support behind the voice acting as well - I'd be happy to lend mine. I've got nothing on my résumé so impressive as Test up there, just school plays and what everyone says is a voice perfect for radio and voice acting.

If you ever decide to get voicing, you could try to ask TotalBiscuit to do some. He's been known to help out in another other indie game (Space Pirates And Zombies), and he's got quite an interesting voice.
Oh, and now that I think about it, you should really ask him to do a "WTF is... Kenshi" (for those who don't know, the "WTF is..." is a first-impressions series done by TB where he plays the first x minutes of a game and gives his honest opinion. Look him up on YouTube, his channel is called TotalHalibut.), free publicity never hurts and his impressions (don't call them reviews) are usually positive when it comes to indie devs with interesting concepts.
Though he might pick up the game all by himself if he sees it on Steam (is the game even coming out on Steam?). He does that occasionally.

Games didn't used to have either no full voice acting, or no voice acting. It's just because modern mainstream games are often so determined to be like movies. Look at Bioware's old games, or the original Fallout games for example. Hell look at Mount and Blade. There are no voice overs for dialogue, but there are still battle cries and stuff. So really you've got a lot of example of options besides full or none.

Actually there is. The Sea Raiders I believe say both written and voiced "We will drink from your skull!" but that's about it I believeShoelip wrote: Hell look at Mount and Blade. There are no voice overs for dialogue
