is there a date for the next update , i know you said about a week on the 5th any progress?

my guess is on "when it's done"

I am super excited about it, have decided not to play the game untill it realese. allready have a good geared squad with 3 outposts

We all had hoped for this weekend but guess it isn't going to happen. So maybe in the next few days?

My guess is it is very nearly done, but it may spend some time as an optional update in the testers forum to get a little more polish when it comes out. If it doesn't, you can bet the delay was to find and squash as many bugs as possible. It's also reasonable to assume that a few of the more common issues with .45 are being addressed and may have caused the delay.

New update looks awesome...new tech tree items are well thought out, and I've noticed that the research bench needs to be manned now...even TL 2,3, etc. still need to be manned. I don't mind, though... my "main" character (my "Faction Leader") is nearly Maxed out in Science skill now...can't wait for Chris to add Prospecting and other sciency stuff into the game...

Looking forward to Walls/Defenses for next patch...can't wait!

Just one character?

Literally all 17 of my characters have at least 80 in Science now. I don't know how much more research I have to do, but I'm on Weapon Crafting 13.

This update was really good. I hate to sound impatient, but whats the eta for the armor crafting update? Will that also include the steel bars needed for the higher level crafting? If it looks like it will be a while, i guess i will just take this time to explore and try to get a full gang. Maybe find a better spot for an outpost.
