North = Map Down?

I happened to notice the motion of stars when fooling around.
If we assume the game world is on the Earth (or anywhere that stars rise in East and set in West), it can be concluded from the motion of stars that the region is in Northern hemisphere and North is down on the map.
Not sure if this is intended or Chris just messed up here :p
However I couldn't spot any constellation because the camera cannot be pitched up, so there's a good chance that the game world is nowhere near the Earth...

It's not on earth anyway. For all we know it's set in an Alternate world.
