I was running through town, and I couldn't find the bees salesman.

So, I've decided to quit Kenshi, because if it doesn't have bees, it's not worth my time.




(I just couldn't resist)

I was strolling through town looking for the bees merchant and I couldn't find him. I know he's there somewhere. So there's this bug where the bees merchants don't show up for some reason.


(....I really couldn't help myself....)

God dammit, i made a general thread for this kind of shit.

Please do not clutter the bug report and gameplay forums with spam topics like this, unless it's an honest suggestion or an actual bug. There is an entire thread already dedicated to all things bees. The general discussion area is where you go with topics like this, these forums should be kept clean of rubbish like that, otherwise the developer(s) have to spend too much time sorting through the bug reports to determine whether it's a real bug or just another bees post.

I'd suggest this topic be either locked, or moved to General Discussion (and the topic in the bug reports forum as well).

It's just a spot of fun, and if it takes Chris too long to deal with this kind of thing then he needs moderators. On another note, if it's too difficult for him to delete the 2 posts I've made then we'll be waiting a long time for a final edition of Kenshi.

This is all in good fun and humor. No reason to jump all over it. The only thing this community has going for it at the moment is it's relaxed and comedic atmosphere. Just delete the threads when he comes back on, it's that simple.

I know about the relaxed and comedic atmosphere, but this is about setting an example. If after release a whole bunch of people come here and see these threads, chances are a substantial amount of 'em will want to contribute to the joke themselves, and start making topics like these everywhere. The problem isn't in the current 2 existing topics, but in the precedent that is created by them, which could lead to not 2, but 20 of these topics.

And if Chris has to evaluate every single topic to determine its validity, that will seriously clog up the production speed. He's already a very busy person without having to worry about fake bug reports and requests.

There's a place and time for fun, and for being serious. This (and the bug report board) is the place for seriousness (or at least the illusion of seriousness, there'll be plenty of facepalming moments here later), the place for fun and games is that other board (you know, the one filled with bees and casual conversations).

Now I know you did not mean to offend or hinder with these posts, and I do not blame you for them, but I will ask that in the future you might consider putting some more thought in the consequences of your actions.
