Render Trailer

Hi Chris,
You made some gameplay trailers quite some time ago. Since i am no good at modding or good enough to contribute some music for your game, I thought about creating a render trailer.
Though I started making it already, there are still some questions, that would better be answered to make the trailer more suitable for the game:
- Will you stick to the desert theme or was it just a placeholder for a rich natural enviroment?
- Is this game intended to be set in a steam punk universe?
- Have you already thought about the details on the energy production (is everything made with steam engines or do they use more complex technology -> alien tech in a japanese medieval society (this kinda reminds me of Gintama))?
*Hopefully it is a steam engine based energy production, since I broke my head on how to get it done without using coal as heat source, but the heat of the sun (bundled by mirrors to be focused on a metal container filled with water and a water and steam circulation system) _ it really hurt to read through all this physics stuff again (failed my physics exams in school quite often)
- Will you stick to stone and ore as main ressource -> influencing what ressources being used as building material (wood?)?
- Is this game intended to be funny or dead serious (is it like 'Claptrap' (Borderlands) or is it like 'Max Payne')?
- Is the culture based on eastern asia culture or is it a mixture of the wild west and east asian culture?
- Would you want a trailer, that hypes the game with faking features to be available (like DX 11 features, though the engine does not support it), or a trailer, that is not dead serious about the game (puns on missing features/existing bugs, because the game is an alpha version)?
- Are the shadows not finished (the shadows on dunes are extremly inaccurate and blurry (but also with really big steps) when zoomed out)? Or is it a bug or just not correctly adjusted, so there could be better shadows for recording ingame footage?
Greetings
Tono
