Hey wait! A free roaming SQUAD BASED RPG???
I can't even have a little taste being as a part of group.

I just like playing World of Warcraft except I need to lure TONS of mob before I could solo them like the trailer.

Seriously, I think the DEMO should able some followers for the group too.
We all know that this game could be build a town - a faction with tons of followers.

For me, my suggestion is - just like the trailer, allow 3 people to be your followers,
which sum up for total 4 people which including the player.

Don't think 4 people is TOO WAY MANY,
a person who bought this game could have nearly UNLIMITED followers for whole game.
4 people will be a small and helpless group in the world of KENSHI, that's

PS: For the people who bought this game, don't think a free trial demo could hire up 3 people is unfair to you all.

Remember, the current state, this demo is to encourage people to pay for this game, and allowing Chris to hire professional person in sound work, art work etc. to improve the game in all kinds of way.

If you really love this game, don't let it die because of the sucked demo setting, ended up with no people willing to support this

I do see what you are saying. I have allowed one extra for now, I'll see how it goes.

Hope you work harder in this game. When the demo going get better, I shall also ready my $10 US dollors (hmm.. that's about $100 for my nation...)

I find that 1 extra person is a good way to have the demo, (talking here as a demo player) Not quite a party so it encourages you to to buy, but enough to get a taste of squad mechanics which i had little idea of how they would work before i recruited my first man.

by the way, can party members or your main character actually die? right now it just seems as if they can only be wounded and collapse...

Uhm, I have circumstances where my character would be in combat and then disappear from the squad box at the bottom.

They didn't fall down or anything though.

As long as you have someone to revive you, I'm pretty sure you are fine.

I've had all 3 of my guys down and losing points on their stuff steadily, never to get up again.

Maybe if you go -100 in blood they will die.
It may not be implemented yet, we'll have to see.

If a major bodypart goes to -100 he dies, at least that happened to one of mine.

So, bandaging could actually be a bad thing if you don't let them heal up.

Because you can easily get to -100 if you go into combat, you are down by your stomach sitting at -22 or something.

Then get into a fight after bandaging to 100. If they down you by your stomach again it'll be -100 or reallly close.

thats correct, for now. Eventually though, bandaging wont be enough to get you on your feet, and characters will have to carry you somewhere safe to recover.

While I agree that having a single "buddy" in the demo would be good for helping hook people into buying, personally I just bought it without even playing the demo.

Have heard about this a little before, stumbled across it today and thought seriously it is such a bargain for what is shaping up to be an amazing game.
Gotta support the indie developer, and can't wait to get home and play this.

Roughly US$10 is one or two lunches this month I will bring from home instead of eating out.

Chris, keep up your amazing work and vision!

My good sir, I recommend you do. Plus if you seen the new topic "What do you want next?" (Located at the top of"Gameplay") you will notice the possibility of many new upcoming features. (you can vote want you want next).

Hey, a person's opinion set in the right words is worth more than gold to any game developer.
