I saw in the patch notes a mention of it, however its not on the map and i havn't wandered across it. Has anyone else?

I thought its the poor Fisher village between Catan and Shark?

wel, i made an outpost(before the update) at the same location in one of my games....so i have to live with the farmers now :p

My Outpost is also near them because they loose every attack of bandits or ninjas. So i decide to help keep them alive And Trader also come this way sometimes...

I gave a good look around: couldnt find it between the two red cannibal spots in the northern desert at all. Any more precise directions?

I saw fisher on the map but because it was previously the name of fort simon something in my brain said it had always been there and looked over it.


Related to this village, is the gate off to the side for anyone else? i noticed theres also no power for the machines and the farmers dont do anything.

Yes, this village have no power and that door I think is there because looks cool but have no use, because you can access the village "climbing" that little "cliff"

I'm confused about this. Fisher and Fort Simon have changed names and location a few times with different game versions.
When I go to the place now marked as Fisher I find this place.
Fisher is now half way between Shark and Catan.
It looks like an empty farming village and not a proper working town with people.
I have been playing the demo off and on for about 3 years, but I was not really following the development until now when I bought the game.

That town you're looking at is the new farming town added in the .62 update. Which Chris has things planned for in the future. I don't think I've ever seen fort simon move.

I didn't mean Fort Simon physically moved, just that it used to be called Fisher.

I had also built a town at that location, popular spot. Natural defences.

Damm, that is not where i had my village planned but is neighbour to it, for sure does not allow to building because proximity, + i dont want to build to close to other villages.

And yeah like Chris said he wil work more to it to the fture, so i guess is normal to be empty now, maybe is art of those lines "You have a village you like... you defed or ran away?" thing

Hey Tommygun, just so you don't think you're going crazy, the same thing happened to me. I think there's a little bug in the map. In my game, Fort Simon's name was changed to the name of my town, Haven.

Hey Tommygun, just so you don't think you're going crazy, the same thing happened to me. I think there's a little bug in the map. In my game, Fort Simon's name was changed to the name of my town, Haven.

Fort simon was officially called fisher in the past. it got renamed some versions ago. its unrealted to a bug where an NPC swaps names with your player town.

I went to go check it out for the first time today... they are being chased around by sand ninja, and I think both types of bandits. I swooped in an saved the day, although I wanted for a bit and they were slowly killing each other while going after farmers.
