Hi all,

Kenshi has been released on Desura, and I'd like to know if people who have already bought the game can convert their key and install the game on that platform.

the key should work for all versions, maybe if you download the free demo on desura, then enter your key.

To heck with that, I'm buying it again for support.

(And because my usual gaming rig was returned to its owner... No Desura/Windows for me yet)

If only the nay-sayers and the "will it get released on Linux?" people gave their money and waited

:D made me laugh

anyway i dont think kenshi will get released on unix systems... directx compared to opengl isnt really cross platform and even if chris made the core-engine cross platform, there seem to be other plugins that only work on windows... so it would be hard/illegal to request "will it get released on Linux?" people to give their money lol

You should always proofread carefully to make sure you didn't any words out.

Need help? pm me or any other mod.

I tried to add the cd key from the "Activate Game CD key of Gift" option, but Desura doesn't recognize it. Then i clicked on the Kenshi icon in the Library\Add to Account, but nothing happen. I don't know, maybe we can't convert our keys yet.

If you are entering your key somewhere in desura then it probably wont work. Your key is entered into kenshi and stored on your computer, so if you install the free demo from desura, that will run as if it was the full game if you already own it.
Is that what you are after?
