So whys he doin all that stuff alone, id help him for free. Completely free. I accept i cant handle anything about game making but what about letting me translate it or stuff like that (if anybody seriously needs a german translation on this version id send him my stuff, wouldnt be hard), asking people for helping with models. With music. People always will find the right motivation if you ask them, mods on games like TES or Open source games showed that. uve proofed urself enough, i want everything to be finished. NOW Cuz the ideas are pretty good. But it will be an neverending task! The mission is always to solve as many things as u can

Basically chris probably had a bad experience with "volunteers"...
you can do models for kenshi if you want and chris said he'd include fan-made stuff if it's perfect for the game.
When/if the time comes where chris asks for help translating the game, I'll help you out^^ (being from luxembourg i can help with german, french, luxembourgish (and maybe a bit klingon,japanese as a hobby ))

He's making a commercial product so he can't use an amateur translator, he'd need a professional.

I'd imagine it's the same for a lot of things, not to mention questions of rights, ownership etc, people would have to sign contracts etc etc, it's a lot of hassle.

In fact its very useless to have 1000 Posts in where the peoples offering their help to Chris, every time the answer is: he don`t want help but he will take your stuff when its sexy... So i`m not sure but weren`t it easier for all if chris say clearly what he need? Models zb Which objectives and in which format it should be and so on. So that everybody who want to help know what he is going to consider

Well i think generally Chris is not looking for anything specific however if he finds something he likes or something that interests him he will inquire about it. Giving the community a list of things he needs and how to do them would be the same thing as hiring us all to be devs and that's obviously not what he wants to have to do.
From a logistical standpoint I can not only see where he is coming from but i also agree with it. Being a boss often means sacrificing time and energy making sure people don't screw up. So if he does not have to baby sit he can spend all his time doing what he wants to do, making Kenshi.

As said above, chris doesn't want help right now, so he probably won't come and tell you to make a model for sth...
Anyway i think besides models (static or not) you can't do much right now. For that i guess you should use the ogreSDK as thats the core graphic engine, or any program that can do something with .mesh files (i like to use Blender and there's probably an importer for that)
