Character and Weapon Builds
What armor, weapons, and gear do you use on your characters? Do you prefer large groups or small squads?
I personally have 7 members of my squad (Think 7 Samurai cause thats what i did). 3 have heavies, 2 have sabers and 2 have katanas, My avatar is a picture of my first character Julius he is a trader and his weapon of choice is a Topper (Katana Version) and his secondary is an edge walkers standard Katana.

I use a big group of guys. mostly different type of katana's and a bunch of sabres. and then a few of each other type.
armour is all across the board as well mostly for looks because else everyone looks the same...
and i got a big group because we are taking on the holy faction!
heres a picture of my doods =D

I have 4 characters, but i only use one. He is using a really good saber, if it hits a vital like the head or stomach its a one hit knockdown 100 + (10), If there is a second hit or more they will die. I collect 2-3 groups of dust bandits on the one character to fight, most of the time its blocking but soon as he gets a swing in there is usually 3 bodies flying around. I noticed if you don't hit a limb first they don't bleed enough to die, they eventually will get back up. But to long for me to wait for them.
My other 3 character are 1 heavy weapon and 2 Katana, Heavy weapons work awful unless you increase dexterity, with a katana first.

I have a party of 19 members and is currently on a veto against recruiting more members as when they work as one unit nothing can stand against them.
I have 3 heavy weapons guys and these guys first have to master the katana as starting at once with heavy weapon is the most stupied thing one can do, it would really just be to have it there for show if one did.
I have about the same amount of Sabers as Katana wielding people in my squad.
My party is a clan that I've named Howl, thier uniform is still not completed as I have to besiege a fort having 35-40 hostiles for every new uniform which mean I have to kill 665-760 hostile troops to get everyone this uniform.
Their Uniform is including the following (once completed)
Egde walker weapons (completed)
Captains Longcoat White (in progress)
Blackned Chain Shirt (completed)
Straw hat (vanilla, worse than Grey but looks better with the white) (completed)
Halfpants Sneaky chain (light)
armoured Sandals (completed)
No merchants have been killed in arming my forces.
traders backpack
Why dont I have medium Plate armor or such things? To be frank, I dont want to exhaust my troops by wearing around on bulky armors for miles in steaking sunshine, Also the Longcoats may offer less dmg reduction, but they offer widder zone of protection of bodyparts meaning every blow my troops is to take more likely going to get reduced.
Why dont I use Chain headwrap? Same, I wouldn't want metal on my head in the steaking sun, also it covers less area of the head than the strawhat.
Anyway, the leader of the Clan Howl is its founder, Gusmil, who is wielding a heavy weapon, a mighty Plank,
He hits for average 54(4)+83(3) = 144 dmg vs sand ninja
33 (21) + 59 (23) = 138 dmg vs armoured gaurd
68+100 = 168 dmg vs Starving bandit
64+94 = 158 dmg vs Dust bandit
62+93 = 155 dmg vs Holy servant
23 (27) + 62 (16) = 128 dmg vs Holy Paladin
numbers of 5 mins solo hunting.

I have a 16 in my group. I am waiting for the opportunity to build buildings before I obtain more. (I need to get more familiar with the editor (When I find time)). Mainly, my elites carry sabres and newbies carry katanas. My group's amour is medium, and medic specialists are equipped with the orange medic amour.

all look pretty much the same (armor wise) and all are good with med kits. since its such an easy skill i dont get why they all cant be proficient in it...

well normally all the unit's medical skills would eventually increase to a good level, but early in the game I designate a medic specialist so that at least one unit can heal others extremely fast. (In later game play however the point becomes moot since all units can effectively heal each other).

I agree medic is easy to get. And time is rarely an issue. Although I have a single dedicated medic in my group of 4.
Main leader is a katana wielder, second is a sabre wielder I think (second class of weapons). 3rd guy is the medic, he came in much later in the game when I realised I needed a guy to stand out of fighting range while the others got themselves raped although has now become a decent defensive katana fighter. Finally I brought in a Heavy weapon guy much later. He took a while in leveling but I have switched him over to a katana for the time being since I like the look a lot more. But it looks stupid on him since he is the largest possible character that can be made and the katana is about the length of his arm....or less.

Hence the user name rabbit? Does the type of animal name affect their rank?

Woodland creatures......and acid.Rabbit Said: rabbit's a nickname i got years ago when me and my friends back then used to do a lot of acid
I have no idea as to how one is relevant to the other or how you got the name rabbit, but damn that must have been some good acid.
