Need help with weaponsmith. (Bug?)

I used the search function albeit I have not yet dug deep so forgive me if this is already an explored topic, While making mkI weapons I upgraded to mkII forgetting about the issue with that and now that my weaponsmith is upgraded it won't craft any weapons period (although the plans for them are working and I can see them) so essentially I queue up a few tasks and my smith still stands around with the (aimless) tag. This does not happen with any other task.

Is this something that will work it's self out? Is there anything I can do?

when you upgrade the smith to produce more advanced weapons you also need fabrics in order to produce weapons, some also require steel rods.

Also his inventory might be full try removing some of the swords from it, if theres a weapon rack he'll drop them off.

I'm quite sure the problem was with that building but there is a chance I was wrong, either way my max tier smith is working now so .
