Lo-Fi Games

Hi everyone's, i tried the demo at Desura and i like it !

The first time play is absolutely over-hard but i like it, when we are learned that we have to pic stuff on already dead peoples to start, we start to evolve.

So i'm planning to buyng it but i have few questions...

Fist, do it's will be a MMO ?

If yes, do this MMO will be free to play ? (after buying the game, 4 sure !)

We are in version 0.20.a11 since Nov 21 2011, 7:29pm, do somes updates will come soon ? (i heard of 0.21.2)

I am native french, do you will translate the game to french ?

I saved my demo game, if i buy the complete game, will my save will be compatible ?

No, the game is purely singleplayer. But maybe a fanatic modder will get it done if possible.

We are on version 0.21.6. There's an update coming soon that adds some graphic gimmics (foliage).
Try wyupdate.exe in the install folder to update the game.

In my opinion if the game is successful, I guess it will be translated, but that's for later...

Ok, let me trying to understand that because is a major part of me questioning...

If i understand correctly, this is not planned in a short time (6 months - 1 year) but it is technically possible !?

I can have a hope for the beta or final** version ?

Here's what Chris (the developer) said in an faq:

"Is it a MMORPG? Is it multiplayer?"
No, its single player only.


So don't expect multiplayer...
I don't know if it's technically possible, I think only Chris could answer that 100% for sure.

For the version:
1- Try a manual update first (click on wyupdate.exe in the Kenshi install folder)
2- Check if there's a text file called: currentVersion.txt (also in the install folder)

Yes, i know it's not in your plan, but as 1337 said, there is a possibility for a modder for making it ?

Or, would you support a project like Bukkit for Minecraft ?

you cant mod something like multiplayer support for a single player game, it would require complete re-organisation of the entire code.

I finally decided to buy it

I decided it because i believe in KENSHI potential, even if the multiplayer is not planed in short/medium term.

I really hope that Multiplayer will be done when the game will be more spread but at the moment, i'm impatient to see the next update.
