The ramp at the beginning of Catun is just too high. My character couldn't path through it without me using the ingame editor.

Problem:

If anyone else experiences trouble; this is how I fixed it:

Start by going into the ingame editor ctrl-f12.
Then place a ramp so it adds some steps. It needs to line up visually.
Then select NAVMESH from the top bar and then Regenerate Sector.

EDIT: Images don't seem to be loading for me but you can see them if you open it in a new tab.

EDIT 2: Using the fix seems to cause a problem where when recruiting I only have the portrait of the last recruited member. The others cannot be selected via click and drag but when clicked on they can be given orders.

Yep, having the same issue. Kinda sucks starting a new game and can't get out of the very first little town spot. Should probably be fixed ;p

Hello ,

After beginning of the scenario and creation of your character. It seems you can't go out of the city (Catun) cause the ramp overlap with the building making your character unable to go down. (Done 3 new games , each had this bug)

Gonna do some more experimentation to see if we can fix it so it is fixed for now.

Done the same. It could be the way the new pathfinding works. Check out the wall ramparts in Catun as well. There's a sector of the wall your can't access because the pathfinding doesn't find a way for you to get on to the rampart from the neighbouring rampart.

Best case scenario, it's just a kink in the pathfinding system to be ironed out. Worst case scenario, all towns need an adjustment.

Alright so after lots of screwing around I managed to fix mine with very little knowledge of replicating it... Although every time I import I need to run the navmesh thing again.

Here is how I think I fixed it:

Once the steps are in place test it out to see if it works. If it does press save in the ingame editor. Your game will most likely crash then import your squad and regenerate the sector again. The steps we put in will already be in the new game and we won't need to worry about it again.
