extremely extremly EXTREMELY frustrated with current build..
I'm trying to be patient but I'm losing it. I'm getting sick and friggin tired of the bugs piling up if I play for extended amounts of time. I can't talk to shop keepers so I can't sell now in order to buy stuff like research. I can't put down walls because my characters bugout horribly. This doesn't seem very stable for a stable version. I can't go back now to play a more stable version and waiting for them to fix these issues is making this even more excrutiating. I've wanted to put together an outpost to try out all the new stuff but i can't. Nothing but issues and its getting more frustrating every hour I try to keep playing.
Well.......you are playing a Work in Progress game and probably in the experimental branch so expect bugs, lots of them. If you want to play the stable one:
Right click over the game in Steam library->Properties->Beta-> select "none"
About the merchant bug....I have that one too, some merchants have 0 cat so you can't trade with them.......I think someone already reported that, but you can buy directly from their shop counters.
About the wall bug......do you mean that your character can pass trough walls? Try to press Ctrl + Shift + F11 to rebuild the navmesh.

I get this is a work in progress, but to put 74.9 as stable, when it isn't as stable as the prior, which was 71 or something, isn't exactly good.Set wrote:Well.......you are playing a Work in Progress game and probably in the experimental branch so expect bugs, lots of them. Anyway I managed to somehow import my save, after many failed CTD's, so that got fixed, but now I have an issue where I can't get back to my outpost, every time I try it crashes when I get close.
As for the wall bug, it resolved itself after I completely started a fresh client. But what happened was I put down walls, finished them and then put some mounted crossbows down. My engineers were running to the wall that was next to the gates, and just running in place. They had built all but 1 crossbow and were constantly attempting to run at it? Even though they weren't close to it. I don't know but after I closed the game out and restarted it seemed to have fixed it, but then most of my engineers were just sitting still and not building, and I had buildings to build.
The pathfinding is your problem then.....they are working on it at the moment.
For the crash problem, upload your crashdump file:
If you are writing a message you will see below this square 2 tabs, one say "Options" and the other one "Upload attachment", then push that button un grey and search your crashdump file inside your game folder (Steam->SteamApps->common->Kenshi->crashdump[game version]_x64.zip) and then click on "Add the file"........Finaly, just submit your message.
P.S: And change the topic title to help devs to identify the problem and then explain it in your post as accurate as you can.

If I may, I was having similar issues and consistent (like every 15 minutes to an hour) crashes. This forum has a F.A.Q. and one of the suggestions was to re-install the game. I backed up my saves, reinstalled the game (making sure to delete any files left over by steam that I didn't wan't), and voila! the game is working great now aside from the shop keeper bug (which should be fixed in the next patch), and an occasional crash (which seem to be less random, so hopefully I can actually report it soon).xeoneex wrote:I'm trying to be patient but I'm losing it. Anyways, thought I would share my success and hope it helps you. Let us know if you find anything else out.
