My computer is brand new though lol I feel like i JUST got everything installed on it and I dont really want to have to do that again for no reason. I also was never given a disc or anything for the Windows thats on here so I'm not even sure how.

Like I said I got it working by deleting the current folder and all autosaves while in safe mode. BUT the problem is, once I start playing it again, those idiotic folders pop up once more and I have to do that all over again. Every single time. I also cannot resave over a previous save, I have to make up a new name for it. There has to be a way to make it so that the autosaves and current folder dont do that. I mean you'd think...
I wonder why this is happening and how our setups differ, cause I have none of your problems. Can overwrite and stuff freely.

Just now I deleted these "Everyone" principals for myself and it did nothing, I can run the game as before.

Okay, one more thing:

Then right click on your Kenshi shortcut and select "Run as Administrator".

Looking at my own steam folder, ALL my game folders including Kenshi show as read-only on the folder properties, i think its just a stupid windows trait that the checkbox always shows as true. None of the files in the folders are read-only, its just folders.

Just as a test, I wonder what would happen if you copied your kenshi folder somewhere into your My Documents folder and tried to run it there?

I'll also add that I have 200 hours of playtime, and was having NO issues until my first post. Was there any major changes to the autosave part of the game? Just a thought... I played for awhile without an issue.
There's nothing in the code that can control file permissions like that. You could try using steam to download an older version just to see if it has the same problem (right click Kenshi in steam library -> properties -> betas tab -> choose one from the dropdown list)

Sorry, I took a break because I was getting too frustrated.
I changed it to administrators where you said to, and it's not making a difference. Still crashing.
Can't load a save, continue or start a new game.

There's but three things I can think of at this point. Ask Microsoft support for help, reinstall Windows, and try the GOG version of the game. Might be not the best options, but it's all I have.

And maybe change Authenticated users to full control. :3

It doesn't let me change that one. I get this error once it gets to changing the Kenshi folders.

Honestly I really don't think reinstalling windows on my brand new computer is going to help and sounds like a huge waste of time that isn't worth it to me.
I wish I had known this was going to be an issue before I paid for the game and I am really confused as to why it was suddenly an issue after many hours of game play. I see many other people with this problem on the forums and not a single one has returned to say "thanks, problem fixed!" I wonder how many actually just gave up and decided it wasn't worth it? Would be nice to see someone actually say their problem was fixed.

Is the crash dump not giving you any information at all?

The whole conversation... so it's not like they even tried.

Ok... so after I asserted that I wasn't going to pay any money and just wanted to be told how to fix permissions on my own without their "service" and may or may not have told them how absurd that was... I appear to have the game working again.

Their first "solution" was to make a new user as an admin. Logged in as this new admin and ran the game, obviously it still happened.

Next she said she was going to send me some permissions info to try. I thought it would be the same threads I had seen, said ok and ended my chat with her a little peeved.

Well it actually worked? At least it appears to have worked for now. However I did not apply it to Program Files since the game is not there. I instead applied it to the entire C:/ drive. Some of the wording is a little off. Obviously it means Windows FILE Explorer.. not the Explorer for internet. There are few other wording discrepancies which I assume are only from translating windows from other languages. But it was enough to get the idea and work through it. Hopefully this can help other people struggling through this frustrating issue for months like me...

Also the #3 step was already done so I didn't need to do that. It was what we had tried to do to solve the issue, so it appears the first couple steps were what we were missing.

I played it for a bit, and so far no issues other than that the autosave isn't working anymore. Just says "failed to save" but I can manually save. No huge issues otherwise.
