I'm afraid so, first off I downloaded it from Gamersgate (which says it's 0.21.1) then when I had the problems I used the link on your (LoFi) page which takes you to Game Front and downloaded that (also 0.21.1).

I might try the demo and see if that throws any light on things.

Make sure you totally delete the old kenshi folder before you install (except your savegames). You say you downloaded the "fix" files I posted here, well they will actually CAUSE the grey terrain bug, so maybe they are getting left in there somehow?

can you post a screenshot?

Hmm,

not sure what I did but I now have ground!

As suggested, I uninstalled and re-installed (completely deleting the Kenshi folder but incl saved games) -this time I'd downloaded the demo. During the install I installed to my root drive (previously I'd been doing it to a partition I use for games) and accepted the bing toolbar (as part of the DX9 install). For the first time the DX9 installer didn't tell me it failed (though it did say I had a more up to date version).

It now runs in and out of a window no problem! :D

I also do not see the ground. I have the game installed on a drive other than my main OS drive. I installed the demo from Desura. I've installed everything in the dependencies folder. I'm currently deleting and re-installing the game. I'll let you know if I have any luck.

I fully deleted and re-installed the game and still have a missing floor.

I do have the latest update.

I've played around with the settings some more and discovered the problem only occurs when I set FSAA above 0.
