Technically not FIXED but SOLVED because this issue will be fixed in a later update as addressed by Chris below.

Version:
0.22.0

Description:
Playing window mode, 1024 x 768, everything else default.
I remember I was on top of a mountain going down from it at ">>>>" speed...
Going from orange area via red path marked, with squad of 9 fully selected right clicking.
I didn't save for that entire session of the travel.

Steps to Reproduce:
See Description and map.

Expected results:
Game crash.

Actual results:
Game still running.

Consistency:
Not too consistent, since it only happened twice in 3 days of playing. It had happened a lot of times from me traveling from clownsteady towards any southern city on the bottom half of the map (the same way as aforementioned description) without saving the game. Mountain not required, just straight traveling in that way will end up in a crash, but it doesn't seem to happen when I'm not moving around a greater distance. (2 days of 12 hour sessions moving around from clownsteady to the north trade station multiple times doesn't even trigger this)

Note: Upon reflection I'm strongly suspecting it is because I haven't been saving constantly.

Reported On:
10 Apr 2011 Dahitman

System specs/OS:
Windows 7 64bit, Geforce 8800GT(512MB), AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core(2.2GHz), 2.00 GB RAM

Severity:
Game crashed.

Workaround:
Unknown

Attachments:

crashdump.zip - Problem is the size is 0, I can't upload it as an attachment. Is this only me? My work around would be to zip the zip with a file (png in this case) that is < 2MB and > 0MB
