[0.93.22] Trading with sleeping NPC acts as looting

I opened a dialogue with a sleeping shinobi thief trader at their base in Admag. I chose to trade but noticed I'm not getting any money for the items I'm selling. When I tried taking them back, I was caught stealing. It appears that barter while an NPC is still asleep incorrectly acts as looting instead.

actually that sounds correct.
they are after all sleeping and you're rummaging thier thier wares.

though not sure if that's how it's supposed to work, but sounds about right to me.

Oh yes, it makes logical sense that it'll work out that way but I strongly doubt that's intended behaviour. They should either not be able to trade while sleeping, wake up when they do, or regular trading be made to work normally.

If it's supposed to work this way, it should go to a looting interface rather than a trading interface. That may be the bug there.

Are you sure it was a trading interface? Did it go through the trading dialogue?

The bug is that when you have a dialogue with an NPC and select an option to trade, you expect to be trading with it, not looting it. The sleep behaviour interfered with what you choose in the dialogue.

yea that should be changed if your getting that instead of the loot one.
definitely a bug then.

This happens if you "trade" with your own characters too (when they are sleeping), so it's a bug
