Crashes upon loading save file/quitting

I've done several solutions available on forums accessible by Google.

I can play the game but I get occasional crashes where I cannot load the save file. In this case, I have to go to Steam to verify my files. There are errors in about 12-20 files. It redownloads. After it gets to the last second of the download, it tells me that I lack file permissions. (I am the only user and the game is installed on C://Games/Steam/Steamapps/Common. My specs are Windows 10, AMD Radeon 460 2 GB, and 256 GB SSD.) I restart my computer. Go to steam without opening anything else. Let the download finish. Among the files, one is the modlist file (I have to reorganize my mods every time.) For mods, I have two that add weapons (one that I created adds three weapons and various armor. The armor meshes show up fine in the inventory. The weapon meshes only show up fine while it is used.

The crashes upon quitting or reloading are minor in comparison.

I am putting comments for the image attached here since it keeps resetting the forum whenever I click submit. The two weapons are the same. The one with the correct inventory mesh is the one I started out with. The other is one I crafted. The bad mesh is there regardless of weapon grade.

I am not sure why the auto generation of inventory icons of player-made weapons had bad meshes, but it was the case for all of them. I fixed it temporarily by copying and pasting the correct icons and pairing them with their respective names for player-made weapons.

it sounds like windows is messing with your files with all its stupid security stuff. Try copying your Kenshi folder to a different location, see if that helps

I think to solve this problem, I would need to install another drive.... Installing it anywhere within Drive C does not work for me.
