I'm a bit confused. I bought and installed Kenshi after the latest stable release (0.95.11), played 80 hours until loading and saving took like 2 minutes and scenery loading became a stuttering annoyance, so, assuming it would help, I verified the game data and 7 corrupted files were found and repaired or missing files were added, don't remember.

So, purely out of interest in what's going on I have to ask, how is it possible that there were corrupted files on a fresh installation that is up to date?

Could the steam workshop mod "populated cities" have been the cause? I have used it since I began playing Kenshi.

FYI: I couldn't solve the above mentioned loading/saving/stuttering issue by restoring file integrity in Steam, but by importing a game.

part of it, is settings files that are being restored to default, that's what it usually replaces but it still calls them corrupted files. this is normal when you verify cache files via steam.

and not sure on the stuttering. maybe zip up your savegame folder with the issue and upload it.
if its over 20 megs you will need to use a cloud storage service then paste the link to the file here.

If more information is needed a Dev will ask.

Ok, thanks for the info! I'm sure the stuttering will come back. Played 3 hours after importing and it gets worse quick. It's less annoying when moving at normal speed, but at a certain point after 100 game days or so, the stuttering becomes 5 - 20 seconds freezing/frame, no matter the simulation speed.

I'll definitely upload the save file as soon as it becomes unbearable again.
