[0.96.27] Trader Caravan

I play with 1 to 3 characters.

Built an outpost . Had the message for the trading caravan arriving but I had already decided to do a book run with all of my chars.
When I came back the caravan was no where, but is still counted as arriving and dot on the map.

Stops any other caravans from spawning.

Hi!

I signed up here just to report this bug! It happened to me as well- first with the Hive Trader, then with the Trade Caravan. Pretty nasty one.

What happens:

-The message appears that the caravan or trader are on their way to your outpost.
-You can see the dot moving towards your outpost on the map.
-Somewhere along the way they got stuck--the dot still shows on the map, you can see the event in 'upcoming problems', but no trader to be found.
-Both times they got stuck within the loaded range of my outpost.
-The dot NEVER goes away on reloading the save, and you never get visited by the bugged trader again. Tested over weeks in-game, I miss getting visitors. : (

What I have noticed (may be a coincidence): both times they got stuck I was busy and forgot to jump over to the outpost to greet them. Might have something to do with it?
