Hello,

It appears that turret guards that are placed on Defense Wall IV turrets are occasionally considered to be positioned on the outside of the wall. Thus, in order for them to move away from their turret (to get a snack for example), you need to open the gate for them. Then, they would take the normal path on the wall, down the nearest ramp, walk all the way to the gate, and then turn around and proceed to go wherever they wanted/you pointed them to inside the base. Since I returned to Kenshi just now and encountered this bug in a few variations, I think I figured out what is causing it, so here's a little update.
This basically occurs when someone on a wall interacts with something that is outside the wall. For example, when you are building searchlights on your walls, if you have ramps, builders tend to climb on the ramparts and build them from there. And after that, there is a chance that they will end up unable to move, until you have someone open the gate for them. This problem can further be reproduced if you have someone lift them. Up until the unaffected character walks up to the affected one, they can use the rampart normally. However, the moment they lift the affected party member, through the interaction, they too start being considered outside the wall, and also cannot move until someone opens the gate.
