Often when I assign people to turret duty they will not leave to eat and will starve if I don't intervene. This doesn't happen every time tho.
Also I'm having issues some times with people assigned to burning corpses or disposing limbs in the item furnace just standing around carrying a corpse until I manually move them.
Another thing while I'm at it.. I've had issues when having multiple food items queued where an invalid food item is being used thus stalling the cooking process. Sticking to just 1 item fixes the problem.
This is more of an annoyance then anything else and I'm sure well known but often when I have an entire group selected and send them some where 1 or more end up going off in another direction. A suggestion to make things easier would be to have it just auto assign 1 person for the path finding when doing the group move and the rest follow that person.
I'm having issues with my crafters going upstairs on their own to get fabric from the storage. If I move them manually they'll grab it. In another base the engineers refused to get the building material out of one of the storage boxes and I had to manually give it to them.
When constructing my wall one time it looked fine when under construction but once constructed it ended up in the air. When I dismantled it the building material remained up there and my engineers kept trying without success to get it.
Really enjoying the game, keep up the great work!

If you have a google account, you can try uploading your zip file to your googledrive, then you can just give the link here.
Thanks for the tip! Here's the file.

I am also having this same issue with those assigned to turrets not leaving to eat when they are assigned the turret duty as a job.
I do find that if I don't have a job queued, and then assign someone to a turret: that they will leave, walk to a nearest food source, and then eat, but they won't go back to the turret afterward since it isn't an assigned job.

Use the Shift+Click to assign them to the turrets. Then they will leave for food and return. If you just manually assign them to the turrets then they will stay at their post until told to leave them.
I find that if you give them more then one task other then burning corpses they will get confused. also make sure to update you nav mesh as that sometimes helps. Also I'm having issues some times with people assigned to burning corpses or disposing limbs in the item furnace just standing around carrying a corpse until I manually move them.
Normally they will remove any invalid ingredients and start on the next thing. If they are not it's normally because the cook doesn't have room in their inventory to take the thing of the stove and put the next thing on. This often happens because they run to get the ingredients for the next thing before clearing the old one. Make sure you have plenty of room in your backpack to clear the old ingredients and you should be good.Another thing while I'm at it.. You can do this. Just select everyone in the group except the one you want to lead, then right click on the leader's icon and select follow from the menu. Everyone will follow the person you selected. Use Shift + right click to make the following a permanent job. This way they don't stop following when something else happens to distract them. This is more of an annoyance then anything else and I'm sure well known but often when I have an entire group selected and send them some where 1 or more end up going off in another direction. sometimes the storage containers get assign to another city if you are really close to something. normally updating the navmesh and doing a quick save and reload works this issue and the one below. if not try rebuilding the chest.I'm having issues with my crafters going upstairs on their own to get fabric from the storage. If I move them manually they'll grab it. In another base the engineers refused to get the building material out of one of the storage boxes and I had to manually give it to them.
Should be fixed with an update of the nav mesh and reload. When constructing my wall one time it looked fine when under construction but once constructed it ended up in the air. When I dismantled it the building material remained up there and my engineers kept trying without success to get it.
