Hello, I started off as a pc user but had to migrate to mac. I love kenshi but its the only game on my computer I can't run in a wineskin. I'm not confident this will be an easy problem to fix but I have a craving to play.
graphics: Intel Iris Plus Graphics 650 1536 MB
what happened: I ran the two dependencies noted in the non-steam download(vcredist_x64.exe, DXSETUP.exe) which worked without a hitch. Then I attempted to run kenshi_x64.exe and was met with a crash that happened every attempt. I am using wine to run windows software on my mac. If it is possible to correct this bug I would love to help other mac users use kenshi with wine.

As you have probably spotted, WineHQ says "The game requires DX11, which wine is able to support to a limited extent, but not enough to be playable, the game crashes after launching the game proper."

EDIT : This looks technical but may be a place to go get help... https://www.reddit.com/r/Kenshi/comment ... rotonwine/

Thank you DanielCoffey, while the thread didn't directly resolve my problem it gave me an idea on how to make it work. I'll reply here if I can get it to work or not.
