When I first install the game then run it the first time, it goes through the patcher and I get a windows error message saying _core has stopped working. But the game continues to patch. Than when it finishes, sometimes I get the same error, OR I get an error saying something along the lines of "Unable to find the dll file Ogre main, either the file is missing or corrupt".

I have tried uninstalling, redownloading multiple times. Nothing seems to work!

When I try to update the game, while it is downloading the updates a window pops up and says the following processes must be closed. Normally it lists _core,but this time it says Kenshi.exe

XD

I am going to try using desura, see if it makes any difference.

*EDIT* No change, same issues. On a side note I was able to run the game before I formatted my computer, but it did not auto update and some things simply were not working. IE(Attacking, sleeping, anything that involved right clicking and all the shopkeepers were gone).

Problem solved. Windows vista 32 bit has an issue with service pack 1 and 2. They don't install with windows updater. You have to download them manually and use the installer. Once you have both service packs the problems caused mentioned in the above disappear. :D
