I can completely and totally confirm that the broken 'Medic' button in build 0.30.2 is caused by the character in question having a Splint Kit in their inventory. I tested it multiple times, and removing the splint kit fixed the problem. No idea why that would be the case, but there you have it.

Splint kits dont even seem to work anymore, did i miss some patch notes saying their removal was intentional?

Splint kits never actually worked for me, but I had always kept one in my medic's inventory in case they eventually had a use.

If anyone else could tell me whether this works for them, that'd be great.

once upon a time they had a use, propping up the functional state of a characters body part. you could splint a leg at 25 to 50 and have him walk normally, for instance. It just stopped working one update though, as far as im aware. had a white bar and everything.

I have always had splint kits in my medic's inventory. They never used to affect the Medic function button. Highly doubt their presence is the culprit for that problem.

They never affected the medic button before, but I tried it in the new build and the Medic button worked when I didn't have them, was broken when I did.

what i seen splint kits still have use ...if some one takes lots of dmg and if only use normal first aid kit to heal then most time they will only get to 99 and then if use person with splint kit they get to full 100
