Dropping a body

I was playing the game and I picked up my fallen partner and ran to safety (inside a town), I dropped him and wow, he falled below earth and into the void (my character dissapeared).

Have yo tired to save and load?
Try selecting the character and move it to another place.
Also, You could also try doing New Game+ importing squad and buildings
This fixed a squad member that was on a wall that could not go down.
Now that I remember, I had the same bug than you and fixed this way.
