Hello everyone at the KENSHI Forums! I am a new member and my name is Adam, I recently noticed this game on Steam. After reading what this game was about, I figured I would HAVE to give it a try and I am sure glad I did. Now stating that I did read that this game is in Alpha, and I am glad I have the opportunity to be apart of this developing process. I have played the game for around 15-17 hours and I have a general understanding of the game and its mechanics. I have also strenuously looked for any bugs or exploits that needed to be fixed, some have been touched on but not in as much detail as I am about to demonstrate.
I have made the video one long segment (as to reduce clutter) to keep it from being confusing.
v0.40.4
Pardon my (not so good) sounds I put in there at some points..Just trying to breathe some life into it a bit. :3

Hope it was of use and I am sure alot/all of what I posted has been touched on, but I thought it should be demonstrated.

List of Bugs touched on in the video
  • Inactive workers after reloading save.
  • Confused Friendly AI; if doing job and enemies come by and attack allies it just goes back and forth
  • Building a shop counter is useless (to me at least) because no goods are sold because no customers come.
  • Building clipping, if an Allie/Myself goes into a building then all buildings clip open and you can see inside of buildings (but not the interior strangely)
  • Enemy AI somehow navigated itself on top of a nearby mountain in the town I was in. They were there through the saved game.
  • Window Overlapping, Probably just something small that was missed in the code. But if you have a inventory window open, the info up in the top right corner will overlap all windows open no matter where you drag it.
  • Just as well with the previous bug, if you drag a window that has items/goods in it over top of a other window it will click all the way through both windows. So lets say you have a sword in your inventory and you want to pick up a med pack off of a dead enemy, if you right click on either and they are on top of each other it will send them both to their respected places.
  • You can have more than one loot window open for more than one mob.(Clutter problem)
  • Sun showing through the vegetation/foliage on the map.(better explained in the video)
  • Town doesn't fog over like everything else does with distance.(town doesn't fade out into the fog like everything else)
  • When there are objects above the sand or embedded into the sand I should say, it looks like the ground is moving to adjust.(not really sure what I'm trying to say just check out the video)
  • Simple AI pathing issue (Taking longer ways around instead of logical ways to destination)
  • From the outside looking in to the buildings, it looks like there are some Art related issues (haven't been worked on yet I know)
  • Lastly for this list, some strange "glowing" effect I noticed with one particular type of vegetation.
EXPLOIT
  • Shop Confusion bug (as I like to call it). Basically if you make it to where there is no room in their shop inventory, then whatever you have in your hand when you close the shop keeper's window is essentially yours to do what you will.
  • Something to note about the Shop Confusion Bug is that it can work against you (well not really, you get a free item) because if you place it in your inventory or in a bag that doesn't have the ability of stacking items you have the potential of losing all in that stack besides 1.
Alright so that's it for the list! I hope it made it easier to see what this video was about.

Do not bump this up anymore, chris will eventually check it out.

Also the exploit would be called the Haku exploit ;) has been around since half a year.

You should always proofread carefully to make sure you didn't any words out.

Need help? pm me or any other mod.

Well thanks for clearing that up for me. A general list of all bugs that are recognized would make me feel like less of a fool, but I still think it is good that there is hard proof of the problems and how to reproduce them.
