Crash Loading a Previously Saved Game

-What happened
I started the game, tried to load my prievous save, the game crashed the instant I saw my characters' names.

-Consitency
It crashes every time I try to reload the game. I started a new one, and everything works out just fine.

-Kenshi version number
0.40.4

-System specs
Video Card: AMD Radeon HD 6800

Same thing happening to me. I have different video card though, a Geforce GTX 550 Ti.

I concur, this happens to me as well. Steam does not generate crash dumps for me.

Getting the same problem, re-installing doesn't help. Not bothered about starting a new game but I would like to keep my progress if I get a cracking village on the go.
