PC Characters attacking each other

After fighting some dust bandits in my town I noticed my characters were hostile to each other. They did not attack directly but showed red cursors when examining each other and only had attack options.

I noticed during the fighting with bandits they were indirectly hitting each other. I accidentally hit shift+f12 and went into some kind of edit mode during the fight which perhaps caused this.

Re-loading fixed this bug. I am playing on the latest version.
