ok so i just bought this game and downloaded it about an hour ago and when i tried to launch the game, everything seemed fine, but when i clicked "new game" and selected the wanderer class, when is finished loading the character creation screen, everything was all messed up, and i couldn't read anything, and the ground was missing, i tried verifying the integrity of the game cache and it came up with 5 files that were missing or corrupted, it automaticaly downloaded about 2kb of data and said the game was ready to play, it didn't fix anything though. i tried this multiple times and it keeps saying the 5 files are messed up dling 2kb and saying the game is ready to play

i really want to play this game so any help or some kind of fix would be greatly appreciated

Well if you updated your video card drivers, turned off shadows, entered a building, turned on vysnc, turned off FSAA, and disabled "no terrain cutting", then you could try using the installer from this website instead of installing through steam.

Also your computer specs might be nice. And if the problem persists, Chris will likely ask you for the Ogre.log file.
