Hey I've realized I have an issue with this game and I know I am not the only one. When I open up the game the only option for the rendering device is HD Intel Family graphics, but my dedicated GPU is a Gt 540m and I have seen others post this and tried one solution of opening up a file and adding something but that did not work. So I am asking for either a patch or a fix to this right now because I struggle to run the game otherwise

Have you installed directX? My only available option in the drop down is Direct3D9 Rendering Subsytem with a 550ti.

To fix this, you need to go into the nVidia control panel and add the game. Once the game is added, you need to explicitly set it to use the nVidia card instead of Intel as that's not the default setting when you add a new game.

He already specified he had done this. The problem is that the game won't even consider the 540m, and thinks that there is only one gpu on the computer. So far I've only read threads regarding the 540m so I'm guessing something is wrong with that specific driver or whatever.

What I've done is; I put kenshi.exe as highperformance, and the game sets it to intelHD. If i could get around the launcher the problem would probably be fixed aswell. Any ideas?

And yes, I have directX.

Revo uninstall Kenshi to get rid of any registry entries that may be rogue and re-install.

Don't set kenshi.exe, set _core.exe. _core.exe is the real game, kenshi.exe is just a wrapper that launches the auto-updater.
