Crash version .44.1

My game crashes many times a day and is taking away from a great game. I am hoping you may be able to help me fix this issue. I have tried most if not all of the know fixes you have listed. But it seems my game still crashes. I may be an hour into the game or just trying to start up the game. I have re-installed the game a few times and have installed the game to a non-program file. I changed the file through NVidia control panel I also run the program as an administrator. My memory card should be able to handle the game it is a GeForce GT 540m with 7.90gb of ram. I am hoping some one can help me fix this issue. I know a bit about computers but am not super good.

I have the same video card and was having similar problems. What helped me and significantly reduced the daily crash count was changing the setup rendering options. They are currently as follows:

FSAA: 0
Full Screen: No
Multi Device Memory Hint: Auto hardware buffers management
Rendering Device: Monitor-1-Intel(R) HD Graphics Family [this is a result of my software. Normally it would be using my GT540m, but for some games it automatically uses the integrated card :\ Hopefully you don't have this issue as well. ]
VSync: No
Video Mode: 1360 x 768 @ 32-bit colour

Of course, some of these settings you'll have to retrofit to your PC. But the primary one for me was the Multi Device Memory Hint. Default it is set to use minimal memory which causes lag and crashes.

The second quote describes the issue with your laptop recognizing the Intel Family Express Chipset but not the dedicated graphics.
