Recently, every member of my faction ignores to heal the companions who have been thrown to ground through combat - but healing everyone else. (Of course i assigned them the job "Medic" while running around the map so they heal after every fight)

Agreed. I've seen a case where a medic healed everyone but himself. In another instance, I've seen it where the medic healed everyone, including himself, except for the one incapacitated guy 15 feet from him.
