I have a base in the flat area between the two cannibal villages and close to clownsteady. When I imported to a new save my buildings were converted to an NPC village. My small outpost building was turned into a police station and citizens appeared, signs were added to my buildings, in my big outpost where all my bed are was a large group of cannibals standing idle. Also all my units were still available for me to click and give orders to BUT my squad list only had one person instead of twenty and that person was a citizen that I couldn't even control. So I reloaded my previous save before the import and everything was fine. Tried to import a second time and and got the same results.

I just tried again for the third time, and all the above mentions police, citizens, and cannibals in my village are marked as being part of my faction. I also have a shop keep and a mr. floppy. I am not sure how to fix this... I am about to try the import without importing my buildings.... but i really really don't wanna have to do that again to keep my save.

While the game is playable pre-import the game still does not seem to function up to date. IE: no raids or anything.

So i had to import to a new save without my buildings sadly. This was the only way i could find to fix it. Oddly enough, my town still imported with everything in it (storage items included) I can still use it, and the town still says it belongs to "Clan Blackloc" but! its not actually my town it belong to clownsteady (the closest npc town) it also does not show up on the map. Again however, everything still functions as if it were mine. So my only problem now is explaining in my RP how my clan lost its town again lol, but i have some ideas for that. Still going to use the town as long at it remains there though.... just for story purposes it is no more.

Lucky you got to keep those buildings and items in storage.
Next time you have to import, you should get traders backpacks and pack your squad with all materials possible "for the long journey to faraway lands".

I would like to add to this bug.

I purchased a house in a Trader's Edge, when i import into a new game the ownership of said house does not import. Anything i built inside is imported and I can still use.
