character hiring

I was wondering if anyone else is having trouble with adjusting character appearance after hiring them. Every time I hire one, the options come up but the character that did the hiring is standing in the way. I cant see my new hire to make adjustments.

known issue and has been for some time.
Do you believe the sexes should be equal?
