This is another glitch/bug that I've encountered that only occurs inside buildings. If I drag and drop any type of inventory item and put it on the ground, it goes invisible. It can still be picked up, but it can't be seen.

Dropping Invisible Inventory Items
This is due to the item falling through the floor. It's still there, you just can't see it past the floor.

this is a very old bug
does the same thing outside as well.
but if your patient, sometimes if you move your mouse slowly you can get the pickup option. more so outside then in.
