it seems there's something screwy with the new lod loading or similar.

I can see people at max view distance.

i move my camera closer, and they become more detailed.

i zoom out and they disappear.

i zoom back in and they reappear.

which is intersting, as i'll see hostile squads far away. check them out. then they disappear until i get close enough again. 'close enough' is if i am fully zoomed out they reappear when they are engaged in combat with my squad.

anyone else get this?

(n.b. went away when i reinstalled back to normal version, came back when i went to experimental)

this is part of the lag reduction in the experimental.
its perfectly normal for now.
