The Police chiefs are no longer interatable. cant drop off bounties to them and the cages don't work in the police building.

but i did end up getting into fight with a sergeant when i told him i heard raiders might be coming. it snowballed quickly after that.

cages not working is an issue since 0.69.2 btw.

I've noticed this too, but I couldn't talk to him at all; I told one of his deputies bandits were coming and they attacked me... The sad part was the guards were engaged in a battle with bandits that had just started

actually the police didn't have cages in 69.2 hence why i brought it up.

Bounties not working still seems to be a problem in 0.72.1

I hauled a sand ninja jounin all over the place trying to find a police station and then when I found one, it wouldnt let me turn him in.

make sure they have a bounty first
not all have them any more. its been randomized.

He had a bounty. When I clicked on the cages the player said: "Too far away" or something like that. When i right clicked on the cages there were no options to do anything.

try left clicking.
or talk to the chief of police.
