0.70.1 Erecting Walls slows game to a crawl

Every time i erect a wall that has a connecting piece on it, the game slows to a crawl. Erecting the walls that do not have a connecting piece do not slow the game at all. I am working with Class 4 walls. Adding materials to the wall does not slow the game down, only while they are actually constructing it. I have adjusted graphics and other settings to see if it would clear it up. This did not noticeable change the situation.

that probaly is the game building a new pathfinding navmesh for what you build so if its conected to another wall it probaly does that for the whole wall.
so there isnt really anything you can do.

I layed out the entire town wall at the same time. I could send an builder to a wall that did not include the connection pieces and could build it with no slow down. When sending a builder to a wall piece that had a connector piece attached it slowed the game down to a crawl. I'm talking 10 minutes to build one wall section slow.

Yeah that's pretty bad. Are you doing this after the game has been running for a while? And if you wouldn't mind, could you share your system specs?

use dropbox or google drive or other offsite file storage place and just post the link to it that way.
