Two bugs I noticed first. I was unable to find more because i couldn't proceed further into the game due to the second one.
In Brink, some of the Police would turn randomly hostile to everyone, almost acting as bandits, and would be attacked by the entire town, and also they would attack everyone, including me, as well. This also happened with one of the shop keepers and guards. The UC Hat Trader. (The guy always looked suspicious to me lol)

The second bug, was that the Mr. Floppy Inn beds would not allow me to sleep in them. Always showing "this is not your bed". I tried talking to Floppy, and making sure to go through all the dialogue, but this did not solve the issue. Since my character has a leg and an arm in the negatives, and no way to rest, I had to stop playing.

Hope this report can be helpful at all ^_^.

I'm not sure how this could stop you from playing. you are never really required to sleep in a bed. It increases healing rates, but that is all it does currently. If you need to heal up red damage, it won't even heal unless it's bandaged (this was true prior to .70, though i noticed that animals seem to heal red without being bandaged, and i'm not sure if this has changed so players heal red aswell) But overall, beds are not a requirement to a point that it should prevent you from being able to play the game. It just means it'll take a little longer to heal up.

I've had the same problems, Brink people have randomly attacking me twice in their town destroying all my guys. And the bed things doesn't break the game but it is annoying when I want to heal up my near dead guys. I went to clownsteady after that and was able to use the beds there, until I saved the game and that broke them so I couldn't use them. Although Police brutality seems to be a trait unique to Brink.

With the bed thing, I guess it doesn't really stooooop me from playing the game. But it is very, very annoying. Particularly when I have an arm at -50, and a leg at -75. Oh, and the town keeps getting into fights that make it so I get damaged. And then I go into wilderness and get wrecked by bandits.

And if I do find a safe spot, well, then time to let about 6 days in-game pass while I stare at my very, very slowly raising hp bars.

And then... when I am healed.... I run out, get into a single fight, and then get damaged a bunch, and need to do the process all over again. Not very fun.

Beds are a very, very nice thing in this game lol.

Cool to know that the fighting thing is only in Brink though. I thought for sure it'd be everywhere.

Not unique to Brink.
If anything it would be unique to the United Cities faction and deadcat fighting due to diplomacy neutralities.

I experiened the chaotic mess in South Port when i first started a new game. This didn't happen when i used a mod start that had diplomacy settings from a prior version. (the mod i use to set all standings towards myself to -100) It overwrote the new diplomacy settings, so they didn't murder eachother.

I'd have to go and look, but i'm replying to this thread as i'm reading it here. The police "attack troublemakers", and the issue here is likely being caused by United Cities and Deadcat not having standings enough to void the chance of the poilice seeing a samurai taking down a bandit and then declaring the samurai the enemy (Attacking troublemakers. since bandits have neutral standings now, the samurai picked the fight, and needs to be beat down according to the police.)

BTW last I checked the bed rentals were actually working at the Police HQ. So if you need a place to sleep you should try there.

I'm seeing quite a bit of good explanation about the troublemakers part and such, thanks Zeal : ).

Though, what confuses me is that it is not all police who fight the samurai, it is just random ones who appear and start attacking everyone else. In fact, the rest of the police force then work with the samurai to take those ones down. I am unsure as to why some police are spawning with crazed murder sprees, but hey, maybe they 'inspected' the contraband locker.

And oh? Police HQ.... I'm worried about getting attacked, but maybe I can try getting in there. Thanks Shidan. : )

Beds still work if you have someone carrying the wounded and drop them in the bed. And no fee this way.

[Edit] 0.70.2

0.70.3 seems to have fixed it.

Happy to say that the Beds are fixed : D. At least in the brink flophouses. Though, select members of the police force are still having trouble staying away from the contraband samples.

Though from what I can tell the Police HQ beds are broken now... Haven't tested elsewhere yet.
