(0.74.2) New game character create crash

using dxd11 still causes the game to crash the moment i click finished with the new game character creater

I also crash upon creation of a new character/game while using DX11, also when editing a new recruit.
I run dual monitors as well and my fullscreen game always opens on the second monitor regardless of the fact that the launcher opens on the correct monitor.

Processor: FX-8350
Video Card: r9 290x
Ram: 8Gb
Windows: 8.1

As above. Also getting a double mouse cursor and graphics settings aren't updating on the in-game menu after the initial config.

As above.

Crashes when I change race. in the new game menu.

Processor: AMD A8-4500M APU
Video Card: AMD Radeon HD 7640G
Ram: 6Gb
Windows: 8.1
