Lo-Fi Games

[I play in experimental version.]
I bought house in city and decided to make it my base of operation.
I started by research bench to research bed and storage and to this point everything was ok.

But now, when I want to build storage chest, I can't see it. Just the chest in this case, the figures in front of it I can see just fine.
And similar thing happens when I want to build old bed. And it is even worst then with the chest, because I can't even see the figures, so I have no idea how is the bed turned, so I can't place it where I want.

Also it seems that placing the bed isn't restricted by walls of the building, since when I tried placing it right next to wall (at least I thought it will be right next to a wall, I coudn't see the bed, so I was mainly guessing) I missed and placed it in the wall, so about third of the bed was outside of my house.
But I think that when I was placing the storage chest, that I tried placing it two times on the same spot (at that point I didn't know the object actualy placed in the world) it said it is too close to another building, so I guess the problem is just with walls.

For now I haven't notice anything else concerning this bug.

ok, one update

checking colision with buildings works even with bed and all of the basic storage containers (storage chest, weapon stand, armor something) are invisible, but their colision with walls works

also, after a while I tried to build again and suddenly I could see bed, weapon standand armor something, but I still coudn't see storage chest

I literally just don't see any of the preview build items. For example if I try to build a Research bench, I have no preview build option. I have to click and hope whatever I have built is where it needs to be. Kind of unplayable if I want to make any kind of base progress.

The one time I hit this I just got out of the game and then back in and it worked fine after. I also found that while it was happening if I placed an item and then dismantled it before building it, the next time I placed that item it would show the preview.

I've logged out, restarted and fiddled with the default settings and I still get no preview for item placement when building. I'm going to delete the game and try re-downloading it and see if that fixes it.

Alright so it seems that running the game on DirectX 9 instead of DirectX 11 fixes my invisible build preview problem.. seems odd.
