So, I was unable to verify this bug until the load saved game was fixed as well as the import function was fixed.

-Assigning a person to farm an area will have them refuse to gather water to water the crops. When it runs out of water they till the soil instead of bringing more water.

Now, the above can be manually resolved by just loading a person with water and manually placing plenty on the farm, but this becomes tedious if you run more than 2 farms, and if its any farm other than Wheatstraw, the time frame of not putting more water causes the crops to start losing condition.

As for gathering, they do this perfectly fine. When the crops reach 100% growth, they immediately start harvesting it without any issues and even take it to their respective storage for processing. So it seems to only be during the growth process and watering that any sort of issue is present.

I am able to replicate this on my game as well, noone wants to automatically transport or restock water to the farms, very tedious manual effort!

I bet its something simple like the AI only looking in specific areas.

Such as building materials they look in the building material storage unit, not say the unit that MAKES the building materials. This would make sense, but the water storage yields the same thing for me.

Having the same issue.

Once the farm is out of water all of the workers assigned to it go work it but don't bring water to it.

have you tried using shift click on examine, this starts a auto haul job for water for me. (hold right click on farm to bring up the option to examine)

For me, the person I have assigned to the well delivers water to the farms.
