[SOLVED] Infinite Wingwang for free + Crashes

Description:
When hiring Infinite Wingwang at the bar in Brick (? - can't read it properly), he joins for free and messes up the main character's avatar.
Happens to me, when I don't have the money.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to the town east of Capital (Brick?), enter the bar, talk to Infinite Wingwang
2. Dialogue answers:
- What do you mean? You want a fight?
- How much?
- I'll give you 4000, and I'm changing your name.
- Um, 5000?
- [END]

Consistency
Always.

System specs/OS:
Windows XP 32bit SP3,

Workaround:
Quicksave + quickload fixes avatar.

PS: Is it just my setup or does Kenshi officially crash so often at the moment? While writing this report and reproducing the bug, it crashed about 12 times. It's barely playable.

What kind of crash? is it creating crashdump files, or is it "super crash"?

No crashdumps, just crashDumpFailed.txt and crashhunter.log.
The crashes seem to happen when opening menus for inventory, shops, looting, character creation and so on...
It always freezes for about 0.25-0.5 seconds and then sometimes crashes.
I thought, maybe some threads get jammed, because the main thread doesn't respond in this timespan.

I looted about 30 bandits, changed item positions, took, gave, visited about 7 merchants, hired squad members - no crashes! Yeah.
Just some item images aren't scaled properly, but you probably knew that anyway...

The current version (0.29.0) crashes just like 0.28.2.
Would be great, if you could work your magic on the new version, too.

Set "Force Single Threaded" on in the options
